The Clerk’s Office is dedicated to assisting residents with access to resources and information. However, we cannot provide legal advice, interpret laws, or guide you on
how to complete legal forms. For those needs, we strongly encourage consulting with
an attorney.

St. Johns County Legal Aid, a branch office of Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, Inc. (JALA), provides many self-help resources, along with other types of legal assistance.

St. Johns County Legal Aid handles general civil cases for the poor, elderly, and
disabled who live in St. Johns County (or whose cases are in St. Johns County), both
in-house and through a joint pro bono program run by Legal Aid and the St. Johns
