Welcome to the Public Affairs Division of the St. Johns County Clerk’s Office. Our mission is to ensure transparency, keep residents informed,
plan outreach initiatives, and collaborate with local media partners. We are dedicated to providing accurate, timely, and accessible information about the services we offer and activities within our office.
Our Public Affairs Division is the primary point of contact for media inquiries. We work closely with local, state, and national media outlets to ensure that important news, events, and developments within the Clerk’s Office are shared with the public. If you’re a journalist or media professional looking for information, press releases, or statements, please visit our Media Inquiries page.
We value our community and strive to engage with residents through a variety of outreach efforts. Our office uses several platforms—such as social media, newsletters, and presentation opportunities—to provide updates and educate residents about our services. For information about upcoming events, initiatives, and other ways we are involved in the community, visit our Outreach and Community Engagement page.
We are happy to support local organizations, schools, and community groups by providing knowledgeable speakers on topics related to our services and statutory responsibilities. Whether you need a speaker for a civic group, school assembly, board meeting or other public event, our team is available to present on a variety of topics. To request a speaker, please submit a request here.
Our office is proud to introduce a meaningful new initiative to honor the brave men and women who have served our nation in uniform. Through our Salute to Service ID Card Program, local veterans can now receive a special card that not only recognizes their service but also provides valuable benefits throughout St. Johns County.
This free program connects veterans with dozens of participating local businesses and vendors across the county who have pledged their support by offering discounts and special offers to cardholders. From restaurants and retail shops to service providers and tourist attractions, these community partners are joining us in saying “thank you” to veterans in a tangible way.
Veterans who visit our office to record their DD-214 can receive their ID card and will have access to these special offers.
