ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla., September 14, 2026 — The St. Johns County Clerk of the Circuit Court and County Comptroller’s Office announces a new partnership with the Florida Department of Revenue (DOR) to make child support resources and services more accessible to St. Johns County residents.
“One of my priorities is making it easier and more convenient for people to connect with the services we provide,” said Clerk of the Circuit Court and County Comptroller Brandon J. Patty. “By working together with the Florida Department of Revenue, we’ll improve access and help connect families with important information and resources closer to home.”
Through the partnership, the Clerk’s Office and DOR will help residents better understand the resources available to families navigating child support matters. This includes information about how to petition the court for child support and how parents may seek assistance from DOR to enforce an existing court order.
“Families often have questions about child support and may not know where to begin or what resources are available to them,” said Karen Lovekamp, Florida Department of Revenue Region Manager. “Our partnership with the Clerk’s Office gives us another way to connect families in St. Johns County with the services they may need.”
The first educational opportunity through the new partnership will take place on September 24 at 1:30 PM at the Richard O. Watson Judicial Center, where DOR’s regional team will host an informational presentation for parents interested in learning more about available resources.
In-person attendance will be limited to 20 participants, and advance registration is required.
