Proof of Compliance Requirements
You may provide a copy of your driver’s license, registration, or insurance card (whichever applies).
Proof of Insurance – F.S. 316.646
- If your insurance was valid at the time of the traffic stop: submit proof of insurance and pay a $10.00 dismissal fee.
- If you obtained insurance after the citation was issued: complete and submit Plea of Nolo Contendere with proof of insurance, and pay the $80.90 fee.
- If you do not have insurance: complete and submit the Insurance Rejection Letter and pay $116.00.
- If you are not the registered owner of the vehicle and cannot provide proof of insurance: provide proof of registration and pay $116.00.
Proof of Registration – F.S. 320.0605
- If your registration was valid at the time of the traffic stop: submit proof of registration and pay a $10.00 dismissal fee.
Proof of Driver License – F.S. 322.15
- If your driver license was valid at the time of the traffic stop: submit proof of your license and pay a $10.00 dismissal fee.
Once you have submitted proof of compliance, please call the St. Johns County Clerk’s Office at (904) 819-3600 to pay the applicable fees. Please note, nCourt charges a fee of 3.5% when making payments by credit card.
